20th Century Cocktail

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ¾ oz Lillet
  • ½ oz crème de cacao
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 1 dash citrus bitters

Shake with ice, strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

A Better Mint Than I

  • 1 oz yellow chartreuse (or green)
  • 4 dashes mint bitters
  • ¾ oz whiskey
  • ¾ oz brandy
  • ½ oz cocchi Americano or dry vermouth

Stir with ice, strain into rocks glass over ice. Garnish with twist of lemon .

Absalom's retreat

  • 1 oz yellow chartreuse
  • 1 oz irish whiskey (such as Jameson)
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • ¼ oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water, heated gently then cooled)

Stir in glass filled with ice. Strain over fresh ice. Garnish with lemon peel, twisting over glass before.

Alive Again Avenger

  • ¾ oz gin
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • ¾ oz Cointreau
  • ¾ oz Lillet
  • 1 dash absinthe

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into chilled martini glass.

Anti-Racist Southern Lady

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • ½ oz elderflower liquor
  • 4 dashes Ginger Bitters
  • 1 dash Cardamom Bitters

Stir in rocks glass with ice.

Apricot Whiskey Smash

  • 2 oz rye
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • 1 ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 2 medium apricots, pitted and quartered
  • 2 fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 3 dashes Mint Bitters

Combine apricots, mint leaves, Contreau, and simple syrup in a shaker and muddle gently. Add whiskey, lemon juice, and bitters and shake with ice for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

Baroness Collins

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz Campari
  • 1 oz fresh lime syrup
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 3 dashes Mint Bitters
  • Club Soda

Combine ingredients except soda in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice until chilled. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with soda and garnish with mint if desired.

Asian Smash

  • 2 oz rum
  • 1 oz coconut milk
  • 3 leaves Thai sweet basil
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 4 dashes Lemongrass Bitters

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into martini glass.

Benediction

  • 1 oz brandy
  • ¾ oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • ¾ oz Benedictine
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 1 dash Absinthe bitters

Basil Gin Smash

  • Small bunch of basil leaves
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2/3 oz simple syrup
  • 1 dash Lemongrass Bitters

Muddle basil, lemon juice, and simple syrup in cocktail shaker. Add ice, gin, and bitters; shake until chilled. Strain into rocks glass with ice and garnish with basil sprig.

Berlin Wall

  • 2 oz resposado tequila
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ¾ oz Velvet Falernum
  • 2 dashes Citrus Bitters
  • Orange peel

Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain and serve in a cocktail glass. Garnish with orange peel.

Billionaire Cocktail

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 5 dashes Absinthe Bitters
  • 1/2 oz grenadine syrup
  • lemon wheel, for garnish

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon.

Bitter afternoon

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ¾ oz falernum
  • 1 dash absinthe bitters
  • ½ oz angostura bitters
  • 6-8 mint leaves

Use a muddler to gently crush the mint leaves with the falernum in the bottom of a Collins glass. Add the remaining ingredients and fill halfway with crushed ice; use a barspoon to swizzle the mixture for several seconds. Pack the glass with additional crushed ice to fill, and layer ½ oz. of Angostura bitters on top of the surface. Garnish and serve with a straw.

Blackberry Basil Bourbon Smash

  • 3 basil leaves
  • ¼ cup blackberries
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 dash citrus bitters
  • Soda water

Muddle basil, blackberries, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Fill halfway with ice. Add bourbon and stir. Fill the glass with ice and top with soda water and a dash of citrus bitters. Stir once more before serving.

  • 2 oz gin

  • 3 oz club soda

Shake gin, ginger syrup, lemon juice, and bitters with ice. Pour into tall glass and top with soda.

  • 2 oz white rum
  • ¼ oz yellow chartreuse

  • ½ oz simple syrup

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into cocktail glass, garnish with mint.

Dark and Stormy

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 3 dashes cardamom bitters

Fill a highball with ice and add ginger beer. Gently top with rum and bitters; garnish with lime wedge. Before drinking, squeeze lime over rum, drop into drink, and stir with a straw to mix.

Dubiously Delicious

  • 1 ½ oz anejo tequila
  • ¼ oz mezcal
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz agave/blackberry syrup
  • Three dashes of habanero bitters
  • One dash of mint bitters

Mix all ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into martini glass with a salted rim.

East India Cocktail

  • 1 ½ oz brandy
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • 2 dashes lemongrass bitters

Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into rocks glass.

East of Eden

  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1 oz yellow chartreuse
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • ¼”x1.5” ginger
  • Three basil leaves

Muddle ginger in cocktail shaker. Add basil and rest of ingredients. Add ice and shake. Strain and garnish with basil leaf and aromatic bitters.

El Peppino Fresco

  • 2 slices cucumber
  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters

In a shaker, muddle 2 cucumber slices and combine with 1/2 oz. each St. Germain and simple syrup, 1 oz. fresh lime juice, and 2 oz. tequila. Shake with ice and serve on the rocks in a double rocks glass. Finish with a dash of aromatic bitters and garnish with a slice of cucumber.

Elderflower Smash

  • 4 or 5 mint leaves
  • 2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz elderflower liquor
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 3 dashes Mint Bitters

Put all ingredients in shaker with ice. Strain into cocktail glass.

Fall Back

  • 1 ½ oz brandy
  • 1 ½ oz dry vermouth
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • 3 dashes allspice bitters
  • 1 strip orange peel for garnish

Chill martini glass. Stir brandy, vermouth, triple sec, and bitters in mixing glass filled with ice for 30 seconds until chilled. Strain into martini glass and garnish with orange zest.

Fall Sour

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon
  • ¾ oz maple syrup
  • ½ oz apple cider
  • 2 dashes allspice bitters

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into cocktail glass garnished with cinnamon stick.

Fancy Aldi

  • Can or bottle of Beer or cider
  • 4 dashes Habanero Bitters

Add bitters to beer bottle or cider bottle. Stir gently or hold thumb over opening and carefully turn over to incorporate.

Forgot the Name

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • ¾ oz grenadine
  • 2 dashes Citrus Bitters

Mix ingredients in cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into cocktail glass.

Gaelic Flip

  • 1 ¼ oz Irish whiskey

  • 2 oz hibiscus tea
  • 2.5 oz rum (Flor de Cana 7 or similar)
  • 1.5 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey/water simmered than cooled)
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Chocolate bitters

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass.

Ginger Spice

  • 2 ½ oz vodka (ginger infused)
  • ¾ oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes cardamom bitters

Pour vodka, elderflower, lemon juice, and simple syrup in mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into cocktail glass. Add bitters.

Hair of the Dog #2

  • 8 oz Hard Cider or Beer
  • 2 oz Tomato juice
  • 3 dashes Habanero Bitters

Add tomato juice and bitters to highball glass and stir. Top with cider.

Hoffman House

  • 4 oz gin
  • ½ oz dry vermouth
  • 4 dashes orange bitters

Stir well over cracked ice and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with an olive. *Note* that this is basically a martini with a lot of gin so be aware!

Hot Buttered Rum

  • Small slice of softened butter
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 dashes Allspice Bitters
  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 5 oz water

Place the butter, sugar, and bitters in the bottom of a mug. Pour in the rum and top it with hot water. Stir.

Hot Toddy

  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1 tb honey
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 dashes allspice bitters

Put bourbon, honey, lemon juice, and bitters in mug. Add hot water and stir.

Il Gatto

  • 1 oz honeysuckle vodka
  • ½ oz yellow chartreuse
  • ¼ oz orange juice
  • 4 drops rhubarb bitters
  • 2 oz seltzer

Shake vodka, chartreuse, orange juice, and bitters with ice, strain into cocktail glass and top with seltzer.

In-Flight Cookie

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • 1 oz ginger liqueur
  • 1 oz half and half
  • 1 tablespoon Speculoos
  • ¼ tsp maple syrup
  • 3 dashes chocolate bitters
  • 1 dash cardamom bitters

Dry shake to incorporate Speculoos. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into lowball glass and garnish with fresh nutmeg.

Inclusive Gimlet

  • 2 oz gin
  • ½ oz velvet falernum
  • 1 slice grapefruit
  • 1 dash absinthe bitters

Lightly muddle grapefruit with gin. Add velvet falernum and absinthe bitters; stir with ice and strain into coupe glass.

Indian Afternoon

  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 dashes lemongrass bitters

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until cold. Strain the shaker into the glass.

Optional: Before pouring the cocktail, run a slice of lemon around a martini glass. Dip the glass in a small bowl or plate filled with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon candied fennel seeds (the things you get after an Indian meal) and rim the glass with the sugar mix. Alternatively, use sugar only.

IPA Manhattan

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 3 dashes hopped grapefruit bitters
  • ½ oz sweet dolan vermouth
  • ½ oz maraschino liqueur
  • 1 grapefruit peel

In a large glass, combine the rye, bitters, vermouth, and maraschino. Add a handful of ice and stir for 15 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass. Peel the grapefruit then light it on fire. Twist the peel over the drink and pop into the glass.

Island Breeze

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2 oz ginger beer
  • 3 dashes Lemongrass Bitters

Pour white rum over ice in a martini glass. Add ginger beer and stir gently. Add bitters.

Japanese Cocktail

  • 2 oz Cognac-style Brandy
  • ½ oz orgeat syrup
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
  • Lemon twist

Combine in mixing glass. Fill 3/4 with ice cubes and stir 30 seconds until chilled. Strain into martini glass. Rub lemon twist around rim and place on top of drink.

Jimango

  • 2 oz Silver Tequila
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 4 oz Mango juice
  • 3 dashes Habanero Bitters

Add crushed ice, tequila, a pinch of salt, and bitters to a glass with salted rim. Pour in lemon juice and mango juice and stir gently.

John the Baptist

  • ½ oz honey liquor
  • 2 oz whiskey
  • 3 dashes ginger bitters or ginger liqueur
  • 3 dashes Scorched Earth Bitters
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

Shake everything with ice and strain into rocks glass with ice. Garnish with candied ginger.

Juke Cup Cocktail

  • 1 ¼ oz velvet falernum
  • ¾ oz high proof rum
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ¼ honey syrup
  • 2 cucumber slices
  • 1 pineapple wedge
  • Ginger beer

Add 1 cucumber slice, lime juice and honey syrup to high ball glass. Muddle. Then add falernum and rhum agricole. Add ice cubes. Top with ginger beer and garnish.

Kentucky Cousin

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz chilled black tea
  • 1/2 oz maraschino liquor (or grenadine liquor)
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Mint Bitters
  • Mint leaves, 3 lemon slices, 4 brandied cherries

Muddle mint, 2 lemon slices, 3 cherries and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 cup ice, bourbon, cherry liqueur, bitters, and lemon juice. Shake well and strain into rocks glass with ice. Garnish with mint sprig, lemon slice, and cherry.

Kentucky Masala

  • 2 oz Bulleit bourbon, infused (see below)
  • ½ oz ginger liqueur
  • ½ oz simple syrup (or gomme syrup if you want to get fancy)
  • 2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
  • 2 dashes Allspice Bitters

Shake cocktail ingredients with ice. Strain into glass.

Infused bourbon: Add 1 tsp orange zest and 2 split vanilla beans to bourbon; rest 48 hours. Strain.

Front Porch Swing

  • 2 oz honeysuckle vodka
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz blueberry ginger syrup*
  • Soda water

Shake vodka, lemon, and sugar in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into martini glass; top with soda water if desired. Drizzle syrup on top.

*Combine a cup of blueberries, a tablespoon of lemon juice, ½ tablespoon of honey, a couple tablespoons of peeled, chopped ginger in pan on stove over low heat until blueberries break down, then strain through sieve.

Lemon and Rosemary Bourbon Sour

  • 1 ½ oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 3 dashes rosemary bitters
  • Rosemary sprig, for garnish

Shake bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into rocks glass with ice and garnish with rosemary.

Kristin's Garden Party

  • 1 ½ oz honeysuckle vodka
  • ¾ oz elderflower liqueur
  • 3 slices cucumber
  • 2 slices lemon
  • 1 dash lemongrass bitters
  • Splash of club soda

Muddle the cucumber and lemon with elderflower liqueur and bitters. Add vodka and ice and shake. Strain into coupe glass and add a splash of club soda.

Lemongrass G&T

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • 3 dashes Lemongrass Bitters
  • ½ lime
  • 3 oz tonic

Squeeze half a lime into a tall glass. Add ice cubes to fill. Pour in gin and bitters. Top with tonic water. Stir gently.

Lemongrass Sour

  • 2 oz vodka
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 dashes Lemongrass Bitters
  • Lime zest, for garnish

Add all ingredients except bitters to a cocktail shaker. Shake without ice for 30 seconds. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into cocktail glass and add bitters, then garnish with lime zest.

London Streets

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • ¾ oz orange juice
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Chocolate bitters
  • 3 dashes Citrus Bitters

Dry shake and then add ice to cocktail shaker. Shake with ice and then strain into cocktail glass.

Maiden's Prayer

  • 2 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz fresh orange juice
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters
  • 3 dashes mint bitters

Shake gin, triple sec, lemon juice, orange juice, and bitters to cocktail shaker filled 2/3 with ice. Strain into rocks glass.

Mango Habanero Margarita

  • 2 oz tequila
  • ¾ oz triple sec
  • 1 ½ oz lime juice
  • 1 ½ oz simple syrup
  • ½ cup mango cubes
  • 3 dashes Habanero Bitters

Blend mango, simple syrup, and bitters in blender. Shake mango mix, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker until chilled. Strain into glass.

Manhattan Twist

  • 2 oz rye
  • 1 oz velvet falernum
  • Dash of angostura bitters

Add all to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime peel after twisting over the drink to release oils .

Manhattan

  • 2 1/2 oz bourbon or rye
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
  • Orange peel
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Pour bourbon, vermouth, and bitters into mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into martini or cocktail glass. Squeeze an orange peel over the glass to release the oils (discard after) and garnish with a cocktail cherry.

Martini

  • 2 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz dry vermouth
  • 1 dash Citrus Bitters
  • Lemon twist or olives for garnish

Combine and place in mixing glass in freezer for 10 minutes to chill. Fill glass 3/4 full of ice and stir 30 seconds. Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish.

Mexican Country Club

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 6 dashes orange bitters
  • 1 egg white
  • juice from 1 lime
  • sparkling water

Shake all ingredients but sparkling water in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass, fill with sparkling water and garnish with a slice of lime.

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur

Stir all of the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Mexico Libre

  • 2 oz tequila
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • 3 oz cola
  • 3 dashes habanero bitters
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish

Fill tall glass half-full with ice. Add tequila, lime juice, then cola and bitters. Stir a few times with bar spoon and serve with lime wedge as garnish.

Mint Julep

  • 1 oz minted simple syrup (or regular)
  • 2 oz bourbon whiskey
  • handful of mint and a sprig for garnish
  • 1 dash of Mint Bitters

Place handful of mint in rocks glass and muddle gently. (Ideally you will have a silver julep glass, but let's be honest.) Add simple syrup. Fill glass with crushed ice and add whiskey and bitters. Stir gently but quickly. Garnish. Wrap glass with a napkin to prevent warming and drink with a straw.

Mildred's Desire

  • 2 oz Flor de Cana (or other aged rum)
  • ½ oz Benedictine
  • 2 dashes citrus bitters

Stir and strain into coupe glass.

Money Champagne Cocktail

  • 1 glass champagne
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes mint bitters

Put sugar cube in champagne flute. Add bitters and lime juice, then top with champagne.

  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • ¾ oz agave syrup (1:1 agave and water)
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz yellow chartreuse
  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • 1 dash ginger bitters

  • ½ oz apricot brandy
  • 1 dash citrus bitters

In a mixing glass half-filled with crushed ice, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Orange Negroni

  • 1 ½ oz Campari
  • 1 ½ oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • 3 dashes citrus bitters
  • 1/2 orange wheel for garnish

Fill rocks glass half full of ice. Add Campari, then vermouth, then gin, then bitters. Stir a few times and garnish with orange wheel.

Oregon Trail

  • 1 ½ oz bourbon
  • ¼ oz balsamic vinegar
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 4 dashes Ginger Bitters

Muddle balsamic, basil, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, bitters, and ice and shake until chilled. Strain into rocks glass with ice and garnish with basil sprig.

Pegu Club

  • 2 oz gin
  • ¾ oz orange curacao
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • 1 dash Citrus Bitters
  • 1 dash Aromatic Bitters

Mix ingredients in cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into cocktail glass.

Pink Gin

  • 2 oz gin
  • 3-4 dashes Aromatic Bitters

Coat a glass with bitters, then pour in gin.

Planter's Punch

  • 3 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz simple syrup (or 1/2 grenadine and 1/2 simple syrup)
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3 dashes Aromatic Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a tall glass and fill with crushed ice. Swizzle with bar spoon. Garnish with mint.

Pomegranate Cheer

  • 2 oz tequila
  • ½ oz agave nectar

Shake tequila, port, lime juice, agave nectar, and bitters in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into rocks glass and garnish with lime wheel.

Prickly Pillow

  • 1 ¾ oz mezcal
  • 1 oz honey syrup (1:1 water and honey heated gently then cooled)
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • 2 dashes habanero bitters

Add all ingredients to shaker and fill with ice. Strain into cocktail glass.

Prestige Cocktail

  • 1 oz Rum (8 year)
  • ¼ oz Dry vermouth
  • ¼ oz lime juice
  • ¾ oz velvet falernum
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 dash citrus bitters

Shake with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Decorate with pineapple wedge and lime peel.

Rainy Summer

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1/4 cup blackberries
  • ½ oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 dash citrus bitters

Muddle blackberries with gin. Strain into glass filled with ice and stir with yellow chartreuse and bitters. Strain into cocktail glass.

Red Eye Manhattan

  • 2 oz Rye
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • ½ oz coffee liqueur
  • 2 dashes Scorched Earth bitters
  • Lemon peel, for garnish

Stir all of the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with lemon twist.

Red Hot Habanero

  • 1 oz gold tequila
  • 4 oz ginger beer (or to taste)
  • 4 dashes Habanero Bitters

Combine bitters and tequila in a tall glass. Fill with ice and add ginger beer. Stir gently.

Revolver Cocktail

  • 1 ½ oz bourbon
  • ½ oz coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
  • 2 dashes Citrus Bitters
  • Orange peel

Add all ingredients to mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into cocktail glass and garnish with orange peel.

Ritz Bijou

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • 3 dashes rosemary bitters
  • 1 rosemary sprig for garnish

Stir gin, vermouth, triple sec, and bitters in mixing glass filled with ice. Strain into martini glass and garnish with rosemary.

Riveredge Cocktail, Shaken

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz dry vermouth
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 3 dashes citrus bitters
  • 1 orange peel, for garnish
  • 1/2 orange wheel, for garnish

Add gin, vermouth, orange juice, and bitters to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into martini glass and garnish with zest and orange slice.

Roger's Badge of Courage

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz maple thyme syrup*
  • 1 dash rosemary bitters

Shake and strain into rocks glass with ice and garnish with lemon and thyme. Can also be made without lemon juice and an extra dash of bitters, and serve on the rocks.

*Gently heat 1:1 maple syrup and water in a small pot with a few sprigs of thyme. Let cool and strain.

Rosemary Gimlet

  • 2 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz rosemary simple syrup
  • 3 dashes citrus bitters

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass. To deepen the rosemary flavors, add 2 dashes of Rosemary Bitters, too.

Ron-Yki-On

  • 2 oz rum
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz agave syrup
  • 2 dashes Ginger Bitters
  • 1 dash Cardamom Bitters

Shake and strain all but the cardamom bitters. Float bitters on top of strained cocktail.

Rosemary Gin Fizz

  • 2 oz gin
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 3 dashes rosemary bitters
  • 3 oz club soda
  • Lemon slice and rosemary sprig, for garnish

Shake gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into tall glass and add club soda. Garnish.

Rye Buck

  • 1 ¼ oz rye whiskey
  • 1 ¼ oz ginger beer
  • 1 dash cardamom bitters
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 3 oz sparkling water

In order, add ingredients. Add ice and gently stir two times.

Rosemary Greyhound

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 3 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 3 dashes rosemary bitters
  • 1 rosemary sprig for garnish

Fill tall glass half-full with ice, then add vodka, bitters, and grapefruit juice. Stir with bar spoon three times and garnish with rosemary sprig.

Saffron Orangeade (mostly non-alcoholic)

  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 6 cups orange juice (fresh)
  • 12 dashes Saffron bitters

Bring water and sugar to boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Add saffron bitters. Cover, let cool. Combine orange juice and saffron syrup in a pitcher.

Drink plain, or with sparkling water, or add vodka or gin.

Scorched Chocolate

  • 2 oz aged tequila
  • ¾ oz crème de cacao
  • 3 dashes Scorched Earth Bitters
  • Orange peel

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice until chilled. Garnish with orange peel.

Sazerac, of sorts

  • 1 lump sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz rye
  • 3 drops Peychaud's Bitters
  • 3 drops Absinthe Bitters
  • lemon peel

Chill bar glass with ice. In another glass, place sugar cube with a little water to moisten. Crush with bar spoon. Add rye, Peychaud's bitters, and a few cubes of ice, and stir. Empty the first glass of its ice and strain the drink into this rocks glass. Add Absinthe Bitters.

Scorched Rum Negroni

  • 1 oz Rum
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Scorched Earth bitters
  • Orange peel, for garnish

Stir with ice and serve in a cocktail glass with orange twist.

Sea Change

  • 1 ½ oz dark rum
  • ½ oz Demerara rum
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • ¼ oz maple syrup
  • ½ oz pear liqueur
  • 2 dashes Chocolate bitters

Shake and strain into cocktail glass.

Seattle's Not Manhattan

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • ½ oz vermouth
  • 3 dashes Seattle Drizzle bitters

Add all ingredients to mixing glass, fill with ice. Stir until well chilled, then strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with Luxardo cherry.

Sofia

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ¾ oz cynar
  • ¾ oz dry vermouth
  • 1 dash cardamom bitters

Rub mint leaf along edge of a cocktail glass. In a mixing glass combine ingredients, stir with ice, and then strain into cocktail glass.

Sorghum Flip

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • ½ oz buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbs chopped, toasted pecans
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbs sorghum syrup or molasses
  • 2 dashes Seattle Drizzle Bitters

Combine all ingredients in shaker and shake without ice to incorporate the egg. Fill the shaker with ice and continue to shake. Strain into chilled rocks glass and grate fresh nutmeg on top.

Southern Gin Cocktail

  • 2 oz gin
  • ½ tsp triple sec
  • 2 dashes orange bitters

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into cocktail glass. Add lemon twist.

Spicy Margarita

  • 1 ¼ oz tequila
  • ¾ oz orange liqueur
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • 3 dashes Habanero Bitters

Run lime slice around the rim of a margarita glass. Dip the glass in salt sprinkled on a shallow bowl or plate. Put all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Pour into margarita glass.

Steady like an Elm

  • 1 ½ oz rye whiskey
  • 1 oz apricot brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz honey thyme syrup
  • 2 dashes citrus bitters

Put all ingredients in cocktail shaker and shake over ice. Strain into rocks glass with ice. Garnish with umbrella.

*Gently heat 1:1 honey and water in a small pot with a few sprigs of thyme. Let cool and strain.

Stoney 7

  • 1 ½ oz whiskey
  • 4 oz ginger ale or ginger beer
  • 2 dashes orange bitters

In highball glass, combine ingredients over ice. Garnish with lime wedge. (Can substitute other bitters -- scorched earth, allspice, etc.)

Sweet Talking Son

  • 2 oz brandy
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ¾ oz maple syrup
  • 3 dashes Aromatic bitters
  • 3 dashes Mint Bitters

Put all ingredients in shaker with ice. Strain into rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint leaves.

Swollen Gland

  • 2 oz gin
  • ½ oz orange juice
  • ¼ oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 dash Absinthe bitters

Add Absinthe bitters to bottom of chilled cocktail glass. Shake other ingredients with ice in and strain into glass. Garnish with cucumber ribbon on toothpick.

Tangerine Honey Rosemary Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • 2 Tbs tangerine juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
  • 3 dashes Rosemary Bitters

Combine whiskey, bitters, honey, and tangerine juice in a mixing glass and stir until honey is dissolved. Add to a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with tangerine slices and/or rosemary sprig.

Teetotaler

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 oz club soda
  • 2 oz ginger ale
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters

Fill highball glass with ice. Add ingredients and gently stir

Tequila Honey Bee

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey/water heated, then cooled)
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
  • 3 dashes Scorched Earth Bitters

Pour Scorched Earth Bitters into prepared glass. Coat the inside and then dump out any remaining liquid. Mix tequila, honey syrup, and lemon juice in cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into glass and add Aromatic Bitters.

Test Pilot

  • 1 ½ oz Jamaican rum
  • ¾ oz light rum
  • ½ oz velvet falernum
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • ½ oz triple sec or cointreau
  • 1 dash absinthe bitters
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Mix ingredients in cocktail shaker. Use crushed ice for shaking (5 seconds). Strain into rocks glass.

The Benediction

  • 3/4 oz Benedictine
  • 2 dashes citrus bitters
  • Champagne

Pour Benedictine into champagne flute, add a dash of orange bitters, and top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Winter in Switzerland

  • 2 oz bourbon

  • ½ oz grand marnier
  • dash of rosemary bitters
  • dash of cardamom bitters

Stir bourbon, pear liqueur, and grand marnier in rocks glass. Add bitters and then a large ice cube. Garnish with a lit cinnamon stick.

XYZ Cocktail

  • 1 ½ oz rum
  • ¾ oz orange liqueur
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Allspice Bitters

Add all ingredients to shaker and add ice. Strain contents to cocktail glass.

Yellow Sunshine

  • 1½ oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz. fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. falernum
  • 1 dash lemongrass bitters
  • Garnish: mint sprig, fresh-grated nutmeg

Add all ingredients to a Collins glass and fill with crushed ice. Insert a barspoon into the drink and swizzle the mixture until frost appears on the outside of the glass. Top with more crushed ice and garnish.
